Refund and Cancellation Policy

At TVET GIG, we are committed to connecting you with skilled TVET professionals and ensuring high-quality services that meet your needs. However, we understand that cancellations or refunds may occasionally be necessary. This policy outlines the conditions under which you can request a refund or cancel a booking made through the TVET GIG platform.

Cancellations

Unavailability of TVET Professional

  • You may cancel any booking free of charge before the service provider accepts it.
  • To cancel, open the TVET GIG app, navigate to your booking details, and select "Cancel Booking."
  • If the booking is canceled before acceptance, a full refund of the service fee for advance booking services will be issued.

Provider-Initiated Cancellation

In the event that a TVET professional cannot attend the scheduled appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, you will have the following options:

  1. Reschedule Your Appointment: Work with us to set a new appointment time that suits your schedule.
  2. Cancel Your Booking and Receive a Full Refund: For advance bookings, no cancellation fees will apply.

Refunds

Refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed into the user’s wallet for services booked in advance.

Situations Not Eligible for a Full Refund

  • You cancel your booking after the provider has accepted it.
  • You are dissatisfied with the quality of the service but the provider has completed the work as described in the app.
  • Minor inconveniences or delays occur during the service.
  • You request changes to the service scope after the provider has arrived, resulting in additional charges.
